Chantal Wynter

Chantal Wynter is a Melbourne based creative producer who curates interdisciplinary work in collaboration with Local Government, artists, arts organisations, galleries, festivals, educational institutions, community and businesses. Chantal has extensive experience in developing, facilitating and delivering creative projects in a community context both small and large. Her interest lies in producing on-site encounters in public and non-traditional spaces. Her events are based on research engaging artists to explore a subject or theme. Chantal is the founder and producer of West Projections Festival held in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
