Grace McQuilten
Dr Grace McQuilten is an art historian, curator, writer and arts enterprise advisor. She completed her PhD in art history in 2008, researching interconnections between art, design and consumer culture. She has published two books—Art as Enterprise: Social and Economic Engagement in Contemporary Art (2016), and Art in Consumer Culture (2011). Grace founded The Social Studio in 2009, is an advisor to The Social Outfit and Twich Women’s Sewing Collective, and leads the Contemporary Art and Social Transformation (CAST) research group at RMIT University.
