M_Curators

In 2019, MPavilion is nurturing young and emerging arts curators with our M_Curators (that’s pronounced “M space curators”) initiative. MPavilion’s program manager Jen Zielinska and program producer Vinisha Mulani are guiding a talented group of up-and-coming curators through the ins and outs of arts programming, culminating in a number of events at MPavilion 2019. Our M_Curators are: Jess Eddy, Zadie Mccracken, Lana Jones, Henry Pyne, Henry Nguyen, Athiqah Ummi Salma and Jett Janetzki

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
