Join Glenn Murcutt AO in conversation with Naomi Milgrom AO—founder of the Naomi Milgrom Foundation, which commissions each year’s MPavilion—and architect and Grand Designs Australia host Peter Maddison as they discuss Glenn’s design for the 2019 edition of MPavilion, his illustrious fifty-year practice, and his most recent and forthcoming projects.

Often referred to as Australia’s most famous architect, Glenn Murcutt has characterised Australian design and influenced vernacular and environmentally responsible architecture around the world. He’s also the architect of MPavilion 2019, our lantern-inspired home for the next four months of free events. Don’t miss this special opening-week occasion.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
