We are thrilled to join with Housing Choices Australia for the 2020 Oswald Barnett Oration. Join us, and colleagues from government, planning and property sectors, for a relaxed Summer evening of refreshments and hear from some extraordinary leaders.

Our panel this year is expert, diverse and opinionated but they share a common goal; to dramatically improve the housing opportunities of people in need, in the city fast becoming the growth capital of the nation, Melbourne.

Panellists:

The Right Hon. The Lord Mayor of Melbourne, Sally Capp

Victorian Housing and Planning Minister, The Hon. Richard Wynne MP

Executive Director, Property Council of Australia (Victorian Division), Cressida Wall

Managing Director, Housing Choices Australia, Michael Lennon

CEO, National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC), Nathan Dal Bon

Moderator:

Journalist and lead moderator with the Cranlana Centre for Ethical Leadership, Peter Mares

This event is supported by MPavilion’s principal partner RACV.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to the land, their ancestors and their elders—past, present and to the future.
