Since 2009, Melbourne not-for-profit social enterprise The Social Studio has created long-term and rewarding education and employment pathways for young people from a refugee or new migrant background, and become a fundamental part of inner Melbourne’s diverse cultural and fashion landscape.

Join The Social Studio for an inspiring conversation on creating outcomes through opportunity, social inclusion, and the environment; and how fashion, storytelling and cultural collaboration are critical to creating harmonious living.

Featuring a panel of alumni, current students, ambassadors, founders and special guests, this event is sure to provide both a wealth of knowledge and a great time.

Wominjeka (Welcome). We acknowledge the Yaluk-ut Weelam as the traditional custodians of the land on which we meet. Yaluk-ut Weelam means ‘people of the river camp’ and is connected with the coastal land at the head of Port Phillip Bay, extending from the Werribee River to Mordialloc. The Yaluk-ut Weelam are part of the Boon Wurrung, one of the five major language groups of the greater Kulin Nation.
